Patent Facilitating Centre provides the First Indian Patent Searchable Database. Searching through this database has lot more options (like dates) than the database from NIC.

NIC(National Informatics Centre) provides a search database of more than 70 countries. Now you can search through US patents from 5500000 onwards.
You can search through unique fields(Title/Inventor/Assignee/IPC) or combination of fields as well. But you cannot search through abstract, claims or full-spec using this database.
