Austin and Ford engineers developed a on-board distillation system technology used in the cars which is used to reduce hydrocarbon pollutants and all toxins emitted from cars by 80 percent. This new technology reduces vehicle emissions by 50 percent or more. On-board distillation system acts like a miniature oil refinery located under the hood of the car where the fuel is split into two fuels.
